Founded in 1977, Shuffle Industrial Co. is a well-established manufacturing and distribution company based in Hong Kong. Along with its comprehensive product development cycle and worldwide distribution system, Shuffle Industrial co. specializes in providing watches and jewelry ranging from exquisite stone watches to everyday men and women watches to customers around the globe.
Initial Goals and Challenge

With Shuffle Industrial Co.'s recent surge in growth, it had a business plan to expand its product line up by offering watches and jewelry while wanting to expand its customer base even further to other regions around the world.

To help accomplish this, a web site was an integral component to help accomplish this goal and as a company based in Hong Kong, the company knew that it needed professional assistants to help cater its new site to groups such as native English speakers.

With its large product catalogue, the company also required a way to publish its catalogue online and to allow its customers to request for price quotes. At the same time, they needed a system that would allow them to easily update various sections of the site.

While for centuries our company has been supplying various businesses with artificial flowers, our new challenge is to now expand our business by offering watches and jewelry to overseas clients as our company's philosophy has always been to capitalize on new global opportunities.

For any new company, trying to promote your new product in the beginning is always a challenging task and combined with the fact that we are targeting overseas companies as our target market to export our goods worldwide, this makes the situation even more challenging.

After thoroughly researching and considering our options, our company felt that with the no-boundary platform that the Internet provided us with, it would be the ideal media form to help reach a global audience in order to promote our products worldwide.

We also knew that a simple and normal website would not meet our expectations as not only did we need a site that would allow overseas customers to find information about us, but we also needed a website that would allow us to provide our products with more exposure.
Solution and Results

With the company located in East Asia and having a staff that was more comfortable in communicating in Chinese, we provided a specialized group of team members who spoke fluent Chinese and English to help coordinate the entire web design and site development process. To fulfill the company's need in creating an online catalogue system, our team of programmers developed a custom made shopping cart system that enabled the company to update its product offering by uploading new images and changing details about the products.

On top of this, we also custom programmed our content management system technology to coincide with the site and shopping cart system which satisfied the company's request in wanting to be able to modify various pages of the site. To make the site a little more stylish to match the theme of the business, we also created a conservative flash banner to help make the site feel more alive.

Not just limiting ourselves to the web design and development aspect of the business, we also provided copywriting services to the company to ensure that it would be representing itself accurately in its literature to an English speaking audience. Despite being thousands of miles away from our office in Vancouver, our multilingual team members were able to make the whole process relaxing and professional. In the end, Shuffle Industrial Co. now has a site to help manage its daily operations while being able to attract clients worldwide with the help of the site.
