Inter-Lite Sales specializes in providing lighting solutions for commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential customers in the BC marketplace. With manufacturing partners all across North America and a team with over 100 years of collective industry experience, Inter-Lite Sales has grown to become a successful and highly respected company within the lighting industry.
Initial Goals and Challenge
For many years Inter-Lite Sales had difficulties creating a web site and that's when they approached us to help build its official company web site. Although creating a website was not its area of expertise, the company knew that it was a necessity in order to maintain its presence in the industry.
Simple and clean was the key design components that the company had in mind and being able to display key information such as its product line card and contact information was critical. The site had to also be user friendly and conservative in its design approach while maintaining a professional image.

Client Thoughts
Part of the challenge for Inter-Lite Sales was, how do we join the 21st century in keeping up with today's sales and marketing needs? With the need to keep up with today's ever changing technological advancements, we needed something to say, we are keeping up with the times.
As a company that was originally founded in 1978, we were very old school in the way we went to market. There's nothing wrong with that, however, times change and to keep up with the pace of business today, you must be on top of your game... Marketing and promoting via the Internet was something very new and foreign to us, although we understood this was a necessity.
After all, our expertise is sales and lighting design, not designing and creating websites. The original thought was to design and build a website in-house utilizing a cookie cutter design template from the Internet. We quickly came to our senses and decided if we needed a website, we should consult a professional.

Solution and Results
After providing consultation about various options and direction for the site, our strategy was to design the site to be fast loading and easy to navigate by avoiding large graphic files and flashy animation. In the end, we developed a site that not only met, but exceeded the company's original expectations. In the process of developing the site, the company also had new features that they wished to add to the site.
Even though the site interface was virtually done, we were still able to implement new sections to adapt to the company's ever changing needs. With the creation of the new web site , Inter-Lite Sales can now easily direct its clientele to its official web site to quickly find information about the company, products and services that it offers.
